RailsConf 2012 in Review

Author: Brian G | Filed under: General

RailsConf 2012RailsConf is the annual conference for Ruby on Rails developers, and this year it was held in Austin Texas from April 23rd – 25th.

The conference is three days of the biggest names in the Rails community talking about ways to improve your code, how to contribute to the community, and new ways of doing things.  Many of the RailsConf sessions are online now.

Back at the home office, we did a brief training session on the highlights from the conference, a presentation I titled “Adventure Time at RailsConf”.

Michael Halliday summarized DHH’s keynote

Dave Vallance reviewed all 3 Days of RailsConf in 5 minutes

Scott Taylor reviewed Rails: The Next 5 Years

RailsConf 2013 will be held in Portland Oregon April 29th – May 2nd.
